Wonderland Maze is a preview, being tried by a few people before it's launched. These terms cover the preview. They will be reviewed before launch.
Welcome to Wonderland Maze ("Service", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
Wonderland Maze is a web application of logic mazes set in Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, for recreational purposes. It's a puzzle for adults, though anyone 13 or older may use it. "Wonderland Maze" is a working name.
2. Account Requirements
The mazes can be played without an account. If you create one:
- You must provide an email address that is yours.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- A forgotten password can't be reset yet: the Service doesn't send email. Choose one you'll remember.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.).
- Send the Service results that weren't played.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Share your account credentials with others.
4. The Mazes and the Hints
Each maze's count of moves to beat, its hints and its stars are worked out by the Service. We check them, but they can be wrong, and a maze can be changed or withdrawn. Nothing of value is wagered or won in the Service.
5. Price
The preview is free. Nothing is sold in it. If a paid plan is offered later, its price and its terms will be shown before you buy.
6. Intellectual Property
- Lewis Carroll's text and Sir John Tenniel's illustrations are in the public domain.
- The Service's design, code, mazes, artwork, and documentation are our intellectual property.
- The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by any film, publisher or other owner of a later version of the story.

8. Service Availability
- The preview may change, be reset, or end. Results saved to an account during the preview may not be carried over to the launched Service.
- The Service depends on third-party services and may experience downtime or degraded performance. Its server sleeps when unused, and can take a minute to answer.
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime or availability.
- We may implement rate limits or usage restrictions to maintain service quality.
9. Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time on the Account page.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- Upon termination, your account data may be deleted.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- For material changes, we will say so in the application.
- Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
